THE ROLE________________________________________
As the primary technical resource for the Sales team, reporting to the Sales Manager, the Sales Engineer is responsible for identifying and matching IT solutions with the customer’s business requirements and objectives. With technical expertise, sales ability, and exceptional customer focus, the person will help overcome technical and competitive objections, accelerate technical evaluation of sales cycle and drive sales to closure.

Primary duties and responsibilities:

• Demonstrate our products and services and their value proposition to customers
• Respond to functional and technical elements of RFPs
• Help potential customers understand, and compare the solutions that are available for buying
• Engage as part of a sales team to achieve or exceed revenue targets
• Install, and support solutions at pre-sales proof of concept (PoC) deployments
• Build long-term business relationships and become customer’s trusted advisor to identify opportunities and sell our solutions
• Leverage and maximize reseller/alliance partner relationships to increase sales performance
• Create and deliver professional product presentations and training to partners and customers
• Travel may be required
• Probation period: 3 months

REQUIREMENTS________________________________________
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or IT fields
• Age between 25 and 40 years old – Male preferred

Experience:
• ۳ or more years of experience in Sales Engineering in an IT sales capacity with a proven track record of success in driving customer adoption of technology, focused on ANY one of the following areas (i.e. one area is enough):

۱- Storage and Server products (e.g. EMC, DELL, HP, etc.)
OR
۲- Networking products (e.g. Cisco and/or Huawei – experience with both is a plus)

• ۵ or more years of experience in IT (Storage, Servers, Virtualization or Networking, etc.)
• Prior startup experience and being one of the first sales people into a company highly desired
• Combined Storage and Networking experience a great plus

Skills:
• Proficiency in English
• Must have valid and active technical certification in their field of expertise:

– Storage: ATP / ASE from HP, EMCSA, VCA / VCP from VMWare, or CCA / CCP from Citrix
OR
– Networking: CCNA/CCNP from Cisco, or HCNA / HCNP from Huawei

• Having sales certifications from same or similar companies is a plus
• Excellent oral and written communications and presentation skills
• Thorough understanding of technical sales techniques and processes
• Flexible, dependable, self-starter, and eager and capable of quickly learning new technologies
• Strong work ethic, attitude and follow-through ability
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of Linux/UNIX
• Knowledge of SDN and Converged Infrastructure of virtualized servers and storage is preferred
